וַיִּשְׁלַח מַלְאָכִים אֶל ־ בִּלְעָם בֶּן ־ בְּעוֹר פְּתוֹרָה אֲשֶׁר עַל ־ הַנָּהָר אֶרֶץ בְּנֵי ־ עַמּוֹ לִקְרֹא ־ לוֹ לֵאמֹר הִנֵּה עַם יָצָא מִמִּצְרַיִם הִנֵּה כִסָּה אֶת ־ עֵין הָאָרֶץ וְהוּא יֹשֵׁב מִמֻּלִֽי ׃
