לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַֽל ־ יְדוּתוּן מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִֽד ׃

This psalm has nothing in it directly either of prayer or praise, nor does it appear upon what occasion it was penned, nor whether upon any particular occasion, whether mournful or joyful.
