וַיִּצָּרְבוּ הָאֲנָשִׁים בְּלַהַט נוֹרָא מְאֹד וַיְגַדְּפוּ אֶת־שֵׁם אֱלֹהִים הַשַּׁלִּיט עַל־הַמַּגֵּפוֹת הָאֵלֶּה וְלֹא שָׁבוּ לָתֶת־לוֹ כָּבוֹד׃
