Jer, ovako govori Jahve Gospod: 'Kad mine četrdeset godina, sakupit ću opet sve Egipćane između naroda kamo bijahu raspršeni.

12Od zemlje ću egipatske načiniti pustoš sred zemalja opustošenih, a gradovi njezini bit će četrdeset godina ruševine među razvaljenim gradovima. I raspršit ću Egipćane među narode i rasijat ću ih po zemljama.'

14Vratit ću izgnanike egipatske, vratit ću ih opet u zemlju Patros, domovinu njihovu, da osnuju ondje slabo kraljevstvo.
