Achab dunque rispose ai messi di Ben-Hadad: “Dite al re, mio signore: Tutto quello che facesti dire al tuo servo, la prima volta, io lo farò; ma questo non lo posso fare”. I messi se ne andarono e portaron la risposta a Ben-Hadad.
