Poi Abner disse a Davide: Io mi leverò, ed andrò, e raunerò tutto Israele appresso al re, mio signore, acciocchè patteggino teco, e che tu regni interamente a tua volontà. E Davide diede commiato ad Abner; ed egli se ne andò in pace.
