Stolti e ciechi! perciocchè, quale è maggiore, l’offerta, o l’altare che santifica l’offerta?

Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?

18Parimente, se alcuno ha giurato per l’altare, non è nulla; ma se ha giurato per l’offerta che è sopra esso, è obbligato.

20Colui adunque che giura per l’altare giura per esso, e per tutte le cose che son sopra esso.
