ആ ആട്ടിൻകുട്ടികളെ യാക്കോബ് വേർതിരിച്ച് ആടുകളെ ലാബാൻ്റെ ആടുകളിൽ വരയും മറുകുമുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിനും അഭിമുഖമായി നിർത്തി; തന്‍റെ സ്വന്തകൂട്ടങ്ങളെ ലാബാൻ്റെ ആടുകളോടു ചേർക്കാതെ വേറെയാക്കി.
