നെഥന്യാവിന്‍റെ മകൻ യിശ്മായേൽ അഹീക്കാമിന്‍റെ മകനായ ഗെദല്യാവിനെ കൊന്നതിനുശേഷം, അവന്‍റെ കൈയിൽനിന്ന് കാരേഹിന്‍റെ മകനായ യോഹാനാനും കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന എല്ലാ പടത്തലവന്മാരും യിശ്മായേലിന്‍റെ പക്കൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ച ജനശിഷ്ടത്തെയും, ഗിബെയോനിൽനിന്ന് തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന പടയാളികളെയും സ്ത്രീകളെയും കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും ഷണ്ഡന്മാരെയും കൂട്ടികൊണ്ട് അവർ മിസ്പയിൽനിന്ന്
