അദോനീയാവു ശലോമോൻരാജാവിനെ പേടിക്കുന്നു; ശലോമോൻരാജാവു അടിയനെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലുകയില്ല എന്നു ഇന്നു എന്നോടു സത്യം ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവൻ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളെ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ശലോമോൻ വൎത്തമാനം കേട്ടു.
