Þe ſonis of Mellezemie; Zacharias þe firſt goten, Jodiel þe ſecounde, Sabadias þe þrid, Yþamael þe ferþ, Aylam þe fyfþe, Johannam þe ſixte, Elionenai þe ſeuenþe. Þe ſonis forſoþe of Obededome; Semeias þe firſt goten, Joſadad þe ſecounde, Joacha þe þrid, Saccar þe ferþ, Aþanael þe fyft, Amyhel þe ſixt, Iſachar þe ſeuenþ, Pollaþi þe eyȝþe, for to hym þe Lord bleſſede. To Semei forſoþe, his ſone, ben born ſonys, prefectis of þeir meynes; forſoþe þei weren moſt ſtronge men.

Þe ſonys þan of Semei; Oþyn, and Raphael, and Obedihel, and Zabad; and þe breþeren of hym moſt ſtronge men; Helyu alſo, and Samachias. Alle þes of þe ſonys of Obededom; þei, and þe ſonys, and þe breþeren of hem, moſt ſtronge men to mynyſtren, two and ſexty of Obededom. Bot of Meellymye þe ſonis and breþeren, moſt ſtronge men and moſt myȝty, eiȝtene. Þe fouretiþe ȝeer of kyng Dauid ben noumbred and founden moſt ſtrong men in Jaſer Galaad; and þe breþeren of hem, of more ſtronge age, two þouſand ſeuen hundriþ, princis of meynes. Forſoþe kyng Dauid beforn putte hem to Rubenytis and Gadditis, and to þe half lynage of Manaſſe, in to alle þe ſeruyce of God and of þe kyng.
