2 Crónicas 24:11

Cada vez que los levitas llevaban la caja a los funcionarios del rey para que la revisaran, y veían que había mucho dinero, el secretario del rey y el asistente del sumo sacerdote venían, vaciaban la caja y la regresaban a su lugar. Hacían esto todos los días, y lograron juntar muchísimo dinero.

Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king’s office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king’s scribe and the high priest’s officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.

10Todos los líderes y toda la gente lo hicieron con mucho gusto, trayendo el dinero y echándolo en la caja hasta que se llenó.

12El rey y Joiada le entregaban ese dinero a los encargados de la restauración del templo de Yahvé. Ellos contrataban a canteros y carpinteros, y también a expertos en trabajar el hierro y el bronce, para reparar el templo.
