“అందరూ తమ తమ ఎద్దులను, గొర్రెలను నా దగ్గరికి తీసుకు వచ్చి ఇక్కడే వధించి వాటిని తినాలి. రక్తంతో కలసిన మాసం తిని యెహోవా దృష్టిలో పాపం చేయవద్దు” అని వారితో చెప్పడానికి అతడు కొంతమందిని పంపించాడు. ప్రజలంతా ఆ రాత్రి తమ తమ ఎద్దులను తెచ్చి అక్కడ వధించారు.

And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay them here, and eat; and sin not against the LORD in eating with the blood.
