యాకోబు తన మేనమామ అయిన లాబాను కూతురు రాహేలును, అతని గొర్రెలను చూసినప్పుడు, అతడు దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళి బావి మీద నుండి రాతిని దొర్లించి తన మేనమామ లాబాను గొర్రెలకు నీళ్ళు పెట్టాడు. యాకోబు రాహేలును ముద్దు పెట్టుకుని పెద్దగా ఏడ్చాడు.
