To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David. I will praise thee , O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy wonderful works.

In this psalm, I. David praises God for pleading his cause, and giving him victory over his enemies and the enemies of his country ( ver. 1-6 ), and calls upon others to join with him in his songs of praise, ver. 11, 12 .
