(But Jehoshabeath, the king’s daughter, took Joash, Ahaziah’s son, and stole him away from the midst of the king’s sons, when they were being killed; and she hid him with his nurse in a bed-closet. For Jehoshabeath, who hid him, was King Jehoram’s daughter, and the wife of the High Priest Jehoiada, and Ahaziah’s sister; and so Athaliah did not kill Joash.)
