Ephesians 3
1FOR this cause I, Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,--
2if indeed ye heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given me toward you,
3that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words;
4whereby, when ye read, ye can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ,
5which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;
6that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers with us of the promise, in Christ Jesus, through the gospel;
7whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God, which was given to me according to the working of his power.
8To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, was this grace given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
9and to make all see what is the dispensation of the mystery, which from ages has been hidden in God, who created all things;
10that now, to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11according to the eternal purpose which he made[3:11] in Christ Jesus our Lord,
12in whom we have boldness and access[3:12] with confidence through faith in him.
13Wherefore I entreat that ye faint not at my afflictions for you, which is your glory.
14For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ[3:14],
15from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth is named,
16that he would grant to you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might through his Spirit as to the inner man,
17that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; having been rooted and grounded in love,
18that ye may be able to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height,
19and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fullness of God.
20Now to him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
21to him be the glory in the church, in Christ Jesus, throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
