38Inside the Temple in Jerusalem, there was a big curtain. When Jesus died, that curtain ripped into 2 pieces, from the top of the curtain to the bottom.

40While Jesus was on the cross, some women were watching from a long way off. These women had come with Jesus and his followers to Jerusalem. They were Mary Mag-da-lean (Magdalene), Sal-o-me (Salome), and another Mary who was the mother of young James and Joses. And there were some other women too.
