A tzaddik who falters before the rasha is like a muddy spring, 1 and a polluted makor (fountain). 1

25 As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. See here, 1. How natural it is to us to desire to hear good news from our friends, and concerning our affairs at a distance.
