You know, nobody ever saw God. But if we love each other, that shows that God is joined up with us, and his love is truly in us.

1 Timothy 1:17That shows that God is really great. He is the biggest boss, and he lives for ever, even though nobody can see him. He is the only one that is God. Everybody has to really praise him and say he is great, and they have to do that for ever and ever. That’s right.
1 John 3:24If anyone does those things, they are joined up with God, and God is joined up with them. Yes, God put his spirit in us, so we know for sure that God is joined up with us.
1 John 4:17We are joined up with God, and we have God’s love in us. We are like Jesus in this world. So later, on the day when God will judge everybody, we will not be frightened, because we know that God will not punish us.
