All the people talked about him and said, “This man is really great. He has God’s power.” Important people said that, as well as other people.

In The King James Version

To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

9A man that used to do magic lived in that town in Samaria. His name was Simon. He did that magic for a long time before Philip went there. Everyone there was surprised by the things he did. He used to say, “I am a great man.”

11Simon did that magic for a long time, and the people there were always surprised by the things he did, so they listened to him.
