Before that day, there were a lot of people that kept on telling everyone, “We heard Jesus call to Lazarus and tell him to come out of the cave. We saw Jesus make him alive again.”

The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

In Context

16Jesus’s followers didn’t understand what was happening. But, later on, after he went back to heaven, they remembered the words that God’s man wrote, and they understood that those words are about Jesus, and that it happened that day, while Jesus rode on that young donkey.

18Then the people that heard that story wanted to see Jesus, so a big mob went out to meet him that day when he was on the young donkey.
