But God, I will sing to you to say thank you. And I will kill animals to give them to you, to show respect to you. I promise I will do that. You are the only one that saves people.”

But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.

8God, you are good to your people, and you keep your promises. But some people don’t respect you, and they turn away from you. Those people show respect to things they think are gods that have no power. So those people will miss out on the good things that you do for your people.
