Jesus stopped and said, “Tell him to come to me.” So they called out to the blind man, and they said, “Listen, Jesus is calling out for you. So you can be happy now. Get up and go to him.”

And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.

48A lot of the people there told him to be quiet, but he kept on yelling out even louder, “You belong to David’s family, and you are the man that God promised to send to us. Please feel sorry for me, and help me.”

50That blind man jumped up. He didn’t worry about his coat. He left it behind on the ground. He just got up and walked to Jesus.
