Then night time came, and Jesus was still alone on the land, and the boat was half-way across the lake.

And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.

46After he said goodbye to them, Jesus went up into the hills to pray.

48Later that night, Jesus looked out and saw that his followers were having a hard time rowing the boat. The wind was stopping them. Just before day-light, Jesus walked to them on top of the water, and it looked like he was going to keep going past them.
