John 20:19

On that Sunday evening we disciples gathered together. The doors were locked { We locked the doors} because we were afraid that the Jewish leaders [SYN] might arrest us. Suddenly Jesus appeared miraculously and stood among us! He said to us, “May God give you inner peace!”

In The King James Version

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
