Yet I am writing you a new commandment, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

7Brothers, I am not writing you a new commandment, but an old commandment, which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the message you have heard from the beginning.

9Whoever says he is in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness.
