Woe to you, destroyer who has not been destroyed! 2 Woe to the betrayer whom they have not betrayed! 1 When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed. 2 When you stop betraying, they will betray you. 1

This chapter relates to the same events as the foregoing chapter, the distress of Judah and Jerusalem by Sennacherib's invasion and their deliverance out of that distress by the destruction of the Assyrian army.
