Quant à la Loi, elle est sainte, et le commandement lui-même est saint, juste et bon.

11Oui, le péché a saisi l'occasion du commandement, m'a séduit et m'a tué par ce commandement même.

13Mais alors c'est une bonne chose qui est cause de ma mort? Nullement, c'est le péché; il s'est servi d'une bonne chose pour m'apporter la mort, et alors il a montré ce qu'il était, il est apparu on ne peut plus coupable, ce péché qui se sert ainsi du commandement.
