ἴδετε ποταπὴν ἀγάπην δέδωκεν ἡμῖν ὁ πατὴρ ἵνα τέκνα θεοῦ κληθῶμεν, ⸂καὶ ἐσμέν⸃. διὰ τοῦτο ὁ κόσμος οὐ γινώσκει ⸀ἡμᾶς ὅτι οὐκ ἔγνω αὐτόν.
