וַיֹּאמֶר שָׁאוּל אֶל ־ מִיכַל לָמָּה כָּכָה רִמִּיתִנִי וַתְּשַׁלְּחִי אֶת ־ אֹיְבִי וַיִּמָּלֵט וַתֹּאמֶר מִיכַל אֶל ־ שָׁאוּל הוּא ־ אָמַר אֵלַי שַׁלְּחִנִי לָמָה אֲמִיתֵֽךְ ׃
