וְשָׁם הָיָה נָבִיא לַֽיהוָה עֹדֵד שְׁמוֹ וַיֵּצֵא לִפְנֵי הַצָּבָא הַבָּא לְשֹׁמְרוֹן וַיֹּאמֶר לָהֶם הִנֵּה בַּחֲמַת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵֽי ־ אֲבוֹתֵיכֶם עַל ־ יְהוּדָה נְתָנָם בְּיֶדְכֶם וַתַּֽהַרְגוּ ־ בָם בְזַעַף עַד לַשָּׁמַיִם הִגִּֽיעַ ׃
