וַתּוֹסֶף אֶסְתֵּר וַתְּדַבֵּר לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ וַתִּפֹּל לִפְנֵי רַגְלָיו וַתֵּבְךְּ וַתִּתְחַנֶּן ־ לוֹ לְהַֽעֲבִיר אֶת ־ רָעַת הָמָן הָֽאֲגָגִי וְאֵת מַֽחֲשַׁבְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָשַׁב עַל ־ הַיְּהוּדִֽים ׃
