וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרֹשׁ לְאֶסְתֵּר הַמַּלְכָּה וּֽלְמָרְדֳּכַי הַיְּהוּדִי הִנֵּה בֵית ־ הָמָן נָתַתִּי לְאֶסְתֵּר וְאֹתוֹ תָּלוּ עַל ־ הָעֵץ עַל אֲשֶׁר ־ שָׁלַח יָדוֹ ביהודיים ׃
