וַיַּשְׁכֵּם אַבְרָהָם ׀ בַּבֹּקֶר וַיִּֽקַּֽח ־ לֶחֶם וְחֵמַת מַיִם וַיִּתֵּן אֶל ־ הָגָר שָׂם עַל ־ שִׁכְמָהּ וְאֶת ־ הַיֶּלֶד וַֽיְשַׁלְּחֶהָ וַתֵּלֶךְ וַתֵּתַע בְּמִדְבַּר בְּאֵר שָֽׁבַע ׃
