וַיִּשְׁלַח הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶת ־ יְהוּדִי לָקַחַת אֶת ־ הַמְּגִלָּה וַיִּקָּחֶהָ מִלִּשְׁכַּת אֱלִישָׁמָע הַסֹּפֵר וַיִּקְרָאֶהָ יְהוּדִי בְּאָזְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ וּבְאָזְנֵי כָּל ־ הַשָּׂרִים הָעֹמְדִים מֵעַל הַמֶּֽלֶךְ ׃
