וַיִּֽירְאוּ הַמַּלָּחִים וַֽיִּזְעֲקוּ אִישׁ אֶל ־ אֱלֹהָיו וַיָּטִלוּ אֶת ־ הַכֵּלִים אֲשֶׁר בָּֽאֳנִיָּה אֶל ־ הַיָּם לְהָקֵל מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶם וְיוֹנָה יָרַד אֶל ־ יַרְכְּתֵי הַסְּפִינָה וַיִּשְׁכַּב וַיֵּרָדַֽם ׃
