യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് യെഹൂദയിൽ രാജാവായി വാഴ്ച തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന് മുപ്പത്തഞ്ചു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു വര്‍ഷം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു; അവന്‍റെ അമ്മയ്ക്ക് അസൂബാ എന്നു പേരായിരുന്നു; അവൾ ശിൽഹിയുടെ മകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.
