യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അവകാശം കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ യാതൊരു ഗോത്രത്തിലും അവകാശം ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഏതുകന്യകയും തന്റെ പിതൃഗോത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഭാൎയ്യയാകേണം.
