Derfor, saasandt jeg lever, siger Herren, Hærskarernes Gud, Israels Gud, skal Moab vorde som Sodoma, og Ammons Børn som Gomorra, Neslers Ble og en Saltgrube og en Ørk til evig Tid; Resten af mit Folk skal plyndre dem, og de, der blive tilovers af mit Folk, skulle tage dem i Eie.
