[ edit] Dauiþ forſoþe hadde þes ſonis, þe whiche ben born to hym in Ebron; þe firſt goten, Amon, of Achynoen Jezraelite; þe ſeconde, Danyel, of Abigail Carmelite; þe þrid, Abſalon, þe ſone of Maacha, douȝter of Tholomei, kyng of Jeſſur; þe ferþ, Adonye, þe ſone of Agiþ; þe fyfþe, Saphaþie, of Abiþal; þe ſixt, Jeþraan, of Egla his wijf. Sixe þann ben born to hym in Ebron, where he regnede ſeuen ȝeer and ſixe moneþis; forſoþe þre and þritty ȝere he regned in Jeruſalem.

Bot in Jeruſalem ben born to hym ſonys, Sama, and Sobab, and Naþan, and Salomon, foure, of Berſabee, douȝtir of Amyhel; Jabaar forſoþe, and Elizama, and Elipheloch, and Noge, and Napheþ, and Japhee, alſo and Elizama, and Eliade, and Eliphalech, nyne. Alle þes ſonys of Dauiþ, wiþ oute ſonis of þe ſecoundarie wijfis; and þei hadden a ſyſter, Thamar. Þe ſone forſoþe of Salomon, Roboam, whos ſone Abia gat Aſa; of þis forſoþe is born Joſaphat, þe fadir of Joram; þe whiche Joram gat Ochoſie, of whome is born Joas. And of þis þe ſone Amazias gat Azarie; bot Azarie, þe ſone of Jonaþan, brouȝte forþ Achaz, þe fadir of Ezechie; of whome is born Manaſſes. Bot and Manaſſes gat Amon, þe fadir of Joſie.

Þe ſonys forſoþe of Joſie weren, þe firſt goten, Johannan; þe ſecound, Joachym; þe þrid, Sedechie; þe ferþ, Sellum. Of Joachym is born Jechonyas, and Sedechie. Þe ſonys of Jechonye, weren Aſir, Salaþiel, Melchiram, Fadaia, Sennaſer, and Jeþ, Semai, Sama, and Nadabia. Of Phadaia ben born Zorobabel, and Semei. Zorobabel gat Moſollam, Ananyam, and Salomyþ, þe ſyſter of hem; and Aſabam, and Ochol, and Barachie, and Aſadie, Joſabeſed, fyue. Þe ſone forſoþe of Ananye, Falciar, þe fadir of Jeſeie, whos ſone Raphaia. Of þis forſoþe þe ſone Arnan, of þe whiche is born Abdia, whos ſone was Sechenya.

Þe ſone of Sechenye, Semeia, whos ſonys, Archus, and Jegal, and Baaria, and Naaria, and Saphaþ; ſixe in noumbre. Þe ſonys of Naarie; Elioenai, and Ezechiaz, and Zicram, þre. Sonys of Elioenai; Odyna, and Eliazub, and Pheleia, and Acub, and Johannan, and Dalaia, and Anani, ſeuen.
