అయితే నా కూతురు కన్య అని రుజువు పరిచే నిదర్శనం ఇదే” అని పెద్దలతో చెప్పి, పట్టణపు పెద్దల ఎదుట ఆ వస్త్రం పరచాలి.

16అప్పుడు ఆ స్త్రీ తండ్రి “నా కూతుర్ని ఇతనికిచ్చి పెళ్ళిచేస్తే ఇతడు ‘ఈమెలో కన్యాత్వం కనబడలేదని’ అవమానించి ఆమె మీద నింద మోపాడు.

18అప్పుడు ఆ ఊరి పెద్దలు ఆ వ్యక్తిని పట్టుకుని శిక్షించి, 100 వెండి నాణాలు అపరాధ రుసుం అతడి దగ్గర తీసుకుని ఆ స్త్రీ తండ్రికి చెల్లించాలి.
