Song of Solomon 7
Return, return, O Shulammite; 1 Return, return, and we will look at thee. 1 What will ye see in the Shulammite? 1 She comes as bands of armies. 1
Thy steps are beautiful in shoes, 1 O daughter of the prince: 1 The joints of thy thighs are like chains, 1 The work of the craftsman. 1
Thy navel is as a turned bowl, 1 Not wanting liquor; 1 Thy belly is as a heap of wheat 1 Set about with lilies. 1
Thy two breasts are as two twin fawns. 1
Thy neck is as an ivory tower; 1 Thine eyes are as pools in Heshbon, 1 By the gates of the daughter of many: 1 Thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon, 1 Looking toward Damascus. 1
Thy head upon thee is as Carmel, 1 And the curls of thy hair like scarlet; 1 The king is bound in the galleries. 1
How beautiful art thou, 1 And how sweet art thou, my love! 1
This is thy greatness in thy delights: 1 Thou wast made like a palm tree, 1 And thy breasts to clusters. 1
I said, I will go up to the palm tree, 1 I will take hold of its high boughs: 1 And now shall thy breasts be as clusters of the vine, 1 And the smell of thy nose as apples; 1
And thy throat as good wine, 1 Going well with my kinsman, 1 Suiting my lips and teeth. 1
I am my kinsman’s, 1 And his desire is toward me. 1
Come, my kinsman, let us go forth into the field; 1 Let us lodge in the villages. 1
Let us go early into the vineyards; 1 Let us see if the vine has flowered, 1 If the blossoms have appeared, 1 If the pomegranates have blossomed; 1 There will I give thee my breasts. 1
The mandrakes have given a smell, 1 And at our doors are all kinds of choice fruits, new and old. 1 O my kinsman, I have kept them for thee.
