Job 26
1But Job answered and said, 1
2To whom dost thou attach thyself, or whom art thou going to assist? 1 Is it not he that has much strength, and he who has a strong arm? 1
3To whom hast thou given counsel? is it not to him who has all wisdom? 1 Whom wilt thou follow? is it not one who has the greatest power? 1
4To whom hast thou uttered words? 1 And whose breath is it that has come forth from thee? 1
5Shall giants be born 1 From under the water and the inhabitants thereof? 1
6Hell is naked before him, 1 And destruction has no covering. 1
7He stretches out the north wind upon nothing, 1 And he upon nothing hangs the earth; 1
8Binding water in his clouds, 1 And the cloud is not rent under it. 1
9He keeps back the face of his throne, 1 Stretching out his cloud upon it. 1
10He has encompassed the face of the water by an appointed ordinance, 1 Until the end of light and darkness. 1
11The pillars of heaven are prostrate 1 And astonished at his rebuke. 1
12He has calmed the sea with his might, 1 And by his wisdom the whale has been overthrown. 1
13And the barriers of heaven fear him, 1 And by a command he has slain the apostate dragon. 1
14Behold, these are parts of his way; 1 And we will hearken to him at the least intimation of his word: 1 But the strength of his thunder who knows, when he shall employ it?
