Psalms 128

1A Song of Degrees. 1 Many a time have they warred against me from my youth, 1 Let Israel now say: 1

2Many a time have they warred against me from my youth: 1 And yet they prevailed not against me. 1

3The sinners wrought upon my back: 1 They prolonged their iniquity. 1

4The righteous Lord has cut asunder the necks of sinners. 1

5Let all that hate Zion 1 Be put to shame and turned back. 1

6Let them be as the grass of the housetops, 1 Which withers before it is plucked up. 1

7Wherewith the reaper fills not his hand, 1 Nor he that makes up the sheaves, his bosom. 1

8Neither do they that go by say, The blessing of the Lord be upon you: 1 We have blessed you in the name of the Lord.
