Psalms 103
1I give praise to Yahweh with all my life, 1 and with all that is within me, I give praise to his holy name. 1
2I give praise to Yahweh with all my life, 1 and I remember all of his good deeds. 1
3He forgives all your sins; 1 he heals all your diseases. 1
4He redeems your life from destruction; 1 he crowns you with covenant faithfulness and acts of tender mercy. 1
5He satisfies your life with good things 1 so that your youth is renewed like the eagle. 1
6Yahweh does what is fair 1 and does acts of justice for all who are oppressed. 1
7He made known his ways to Moses, 1 his deeds to the descendants of Israel. 1
8Yahweh is merciful and gracious; 1 he is patient; he has great covenant loyalty. 1
9He will not always discipline; 1 he is not always angry. 1
10He does not deal with us as our sins deserve 1 or repay us for what our sins demand. 1
11For as the skies are high above the earth, 1 so great is his covenant faithfulness toward those who honor him. 1
12As far as the east is from the west, 1 this is how far he has removed the guilt of our sins from us. 1
13As a father has compassion on his children, 1 so Yahweh has compassion on those who honor him. 1
14For he knows how we are formed; 1 he knows that we are dust. 1
15As for man, his days are like grass; 1 he flourishes like a flower in a field. 1
16The wind blows over it, and it disappears, 1 and no one can even tell where it once grew. 1
17But the covenant faithfulness of Yahweh is from everlasting to everlasting on those who honor him. 1 His righteousness extends to their descendants. 1
18They keep his covenant 1 and remember to obey his instructions. 1
19Yahweh has established his throne in the heavens, 1 and his kingdom rules over everyone. 1
20Give praise to Yahweh, you his angels, 1 you mighty ones who are strong and do his word, 1 and obey the sound of his word. 1
21Give praise to Yahweh, all his hosts, 1 you are his servants who carry out his will. 1
22Give praise to Yahweh, all his creatures, 1 in all the places where he reigns. 1 I will give praise to Yahweh with all my life.
