Psalms 96
1Oh, sing to Yahweh a new song; 1 sing to Yahweh, all the earth. 1
2Sing to Yahweh, bless his name; 1 announce his salvation day after day. 1
3Declare his glory among the nations, 1 his marvelous deeds among all the nations. 1
4For Yahweh is great and is to be praised greatly. 1 He is to be feared above all other gods. 1
5For all the gods of the nations are idols, 1 but it is Yahweh who made the heavens. 1
6Splendor and majesty are in his presence. 1 Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. 1
7Ascribe to Yahweh, you clans of peoples, 1 ascribe praise to Yahweh for his glory and strength. 1
8Give to Yahweh the glory that his name deserves. 1 Bring an offering and come into his courts. 1
9Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness; 1 tremble before him, all the earth. 1
10Say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns.” 1 The world also is established; it cannot be shaken. 1 He judges the peoples fairly. 1
11Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; 1 let the sea roar and that which fills it shout with joy. 1
12Let the fields rejoice and all that is in them. 1 Then let all the trees in the forest shout for joy 1
13before Yahweh, for he is coming. 1 He is coming to judge the earth. 1 He will judge the world with righteousness 1 and the peoples with his faithfulness.
