Psalms 70

1Save me, God! 1 Yahweh, come quickly and help me. 1

2Let those who try to take my life 1 be ashamed and humiliated; 1 let them be turned back and brought to dishonor, 1 those who take pleasure in my pain. 1

3Let them be turned back because of their shame, 1 those who say, “Aha, aha.” 1

4Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; 1 let those who love your salvation always say, 1 “May God be praised.” 1

5But I am poor and needy; 1 hurry to me, God; 1 you are my help and you rescue me. 1 Yahweh, do not delay.
