Psalms 87

1On the holy mount stands the city he founded; 1

2Yahweh loves the gates of Zion 1 more than all the tents of Jacob. 1

3Glorious things are said of you, city of God. Selah 1

4“I mention Rahab and Babylon to my followers. 1 See, there are Philistia, and Tyre, along with Cush— 1 and will say, 'This one was born there.'” 1

5Of Zion it will be said, “Each of these was born in her; 1 and the Most High himself will establish her.” 1

6Yahweh writes in the census book of the nations, 1 “This one was born there.” Selah 1

7So also the singers and the dancers say together, 1 “All my fountains are in you.”
