Psalms 148
1Praise Yahweh. 1 Praise Yahweh, you in the heavens; 1 praise him, you in the heights. 1
2Praise him, all his angels; 1 praise him, all his hosts. 1
3Praise him, sun and moon; 1 praise him, all you shining stars. 1
4Praise him, highest heaven 1 and you waters that are above the sky. 1
5Let them praise the name of Yahweh, 1 for he gave the command, and they were created. 1
6He has also established them forever and ever; 1 he issued a decree that will never change. 1
7Praise him from the earth, 1 you sea monsters and all ocean depths, 1
8fire and hail, snow and clouds, 1 stormy wind fulfilling his word. 1
9Praise him, mountains and all hills, 1 fruit trees and all cedars, 1
10animals wild and tame, 1 creatures that crawl and birds. 1
11Praise Yahweh, kings of the earth and all nations, 1 princes and all who govern on the earth, 1
12both young men and young women, 1 elderly and children. 1
13Let them all praise the name of Yahweh, 1 for his name alone is exalted 1 and his glory extends over the earth and the heavens. 1
14He has lifted up the horn of his people 1 for praise from all his faithful ones, 1 the Israelites, the people near to him. 1 Praise Yahweh.
